If Jazz you must, then Jazz with class! The Jazz Pro is a result of years of work with seasoned touring and studio pros and your everyday “weekend warriors”. Great effort has been made to capture the “essence” of the Jazz tone in a modern design, without “copying” the bass and simply putting the Pavel name on it. Everything is done “in-house” with nothing but the best for the discriminating musician.
All Pro model basses come with features like, 22 frets plus a zero fret, 35” scale ( 34” optional) figured Bird’s Eye or Flame Maple necks with select fingerboards. The body possesses a smaller upper horn area (for better higher fret access) and no pickguard with a choice of seasoned tone woods for the body. These features help make this bass your 1 st choice for any situation. |

- 22 + 0 small high-mass frets with shell dot inlays (MOP or Abalone)on Ebony, BE Maple or Rosewood.
- Presently with a 4+1 headstock with Hipshot Ultralight Clover Tuners (working on a 3+2 design for Summer 2007).
- 4 offset bolt-on design with ergonomically designed asymmetric heel.
- High mass Brass or Aircraft grade aluminum Hipshot “B” style bridge.
- Pavel true non-stacked hum-canceling pickups in mathematically and tonally correct 35" scale jazz placement.

- Aguilar "OBP-2" 18volts 2-band preamp with push/pull Vol for passive switch and push/pull on the Treble and Bass pots for Parallel/Series switching on each pickup. (V, V, T, B)
