Our bass models stem off of two concepts influenced by greats like the late Leo Fender and those who have helped open the door of modern construction in guitar making today.
The “Pro” models as previously mentioned, are a tribute (if you will) to Leo Fender and his great creations. With the evolution of bass playing bringing the instrument to a more prominent role, we saw a need to take some of Leo’s ideas and expand them to meet the needs of today’s bassist.

The goal was not to duplicate his ideas. There are far too many companies doing that even to the point that they are having necks and bodies made overseas and giving people the illusion they are made “in-house” and charging a premium for them. All my instruments are made in our factory here in the US by myself and the luthiers I personally train and supervise under me. As the need arises, I will introduce a lower priced “overseas” line of instruments that will reflect the same philosophy I employ for the world class instruments that we produce.

The second line of basses we make embody a more “organic” approach. The Tzack, Macabee, Hadara and Aryel have been compared to the “best of the best” in today’s class of instruments. Their wood combinations, custom glues and construction techniques along with hardware and custom pickups and electronics allow these instruments to embrace any music genre effortlessly. They are artistic chameleons disguised as beautiful musical instruments to make you fall in love at first sight.

Construction options are denoted in different series: Standard, Deluxe and Signature Series.

Standard Series:
One kind of body wood (i.e. Alder, Ash, Mahogany, Maple, Poplar, Walnut, etc.) and necks would have some figuring. Available in Pro models only.

Deluxe Series:
In the Pro models, “Exhibition” grade woods are standard for tops and necks. The rest of our models will have a 3 piece body which is made with contrasting wood between the top and back along with a matching top wood for the headstock.

Signature Series:
The Rolls Royce/Bentley of Basses! This wood configuration is the very best we offer. A 7 piece body that has matching top and back with a figured core along with 2 accent veneers added between the top and core along with 2 more between the core and back. The battery and control covers are matching to the back. The 5/7/9 piece necks are capped front and back with the same woods and veneers as the body. And finally, the neck is bound with 2 contrasting woods and a contrasting veneer between the fingerboard and neck.
